Black-stripe sweepers live in colonies around rocks and rock holes south of Chiba.  During its infant years, they sometimes live in colony of thousands.

Their body is flat on both sides and its stomach sticks out downwards, making them have a triangular shape.

Their scales are easily peeled off and they get active at night.
