The coral reefs surrounding the NanseiIslands are natural seawalls. They face the open sea and the exterior side of the coral reefs has a steep slope that stretches to the bottom of the sea. Here, you will find sturdy corals with short and thick branches, massive corals, encrusted corals and other corals strong enough to repel strong waves.

Displayed in this tank are corals and fish that live in coral reef slope.
