Here, you can find Clark’s anemone fish and Bulb-tentacle sea anemone.

Clark’s anemone fish has a brown body with distinctive white stripes. They live in shallow rocks and coral reefs with large sea anemone such as Bulb-tentacle sea anemone.  Clark’s anemone fish lives in the northernmost areas and can be found in the shallow ends around Sakurajima.

The Bulb-tentacle sea anemone, host of anemone fish, grows in large colonies around Sakurajima. Excluding the wavy tentacles, the diameter of its oral disk is about 20 to 30cm. The view of these large Bulb-tentacle sea anemones covering the ocean floor is magnificent.
