Displayed in this tank are deep-sea creatures like the Japanese saw shark that lives around Kagoshima.
100 m intoKinko Bay, the water is cold and there is almost no current. There are plentiful resources of deep-sea creatures. Fishermen hunt for razor red shrimps throughout the year in this location using a method called Tontoko netting.
In fixed nets near the mouth of the bay, set to capture bastard halibut, deep-sea creatures like saw sharks get caught in them during winter and spring when water temperatures are low.
