Red-belted Anthias
Red-belted anthias lives in waters of southern Japan and middle/West Pacific Ocean. A male can grow up to be 10 cm in length.
A male has a red band on its body but a female does not.
They spawn from summer to fall and during this period, a male turns into nuptial color. In Kinko Bay, you will see them swimming in colonies of several hundreds.
